So who’s the lucky guy behind the camera? We have a feeling that fiance Jason Trawick was the one to elicit such megawatt smiles from his family-to-be.

Even in the pictures department, Poonam has managed to outdo Sunny. The latter has been busy tweeting pictures without any make up, and Poonam has topped the charts with her picture, albeit, without any clothes.

The strip picture that was tweeted after the KKR victory, has managed to put Poonam back in the top ten trends list. Let's wait and see if Poonam is able to win the battle at the box office, against the porn star import.

McDonald’s Marketing Campaign Goes Vitriolic hatred on Twitter

The Big Mac has come under attack, after McDonalds became the subject of an outburst of vitriolic hatred on Twitter when critics hijacked a promotional hash-tag created by the fast-food giant.

Jumping on the social media bandwagon, McDonalds last week launched a campaign featuring paid-for tweets, which would appear at the top of search results.

Attack on the Big Mac: McDonalds has become the subject of an outburst of vitriolic hatred on Twitter after users hijacked a promotional hashtag created by the fast-food giant the global chain sent out two tweets with the more general hash-tag #McDStories.

Hijacked: The global chain sent out two tweets with the more general hash-tag #McDStories

An initial hashtag #MeetTheFarmers, meant to promote the coorporation’s guarantee of fresh produce, concentrated on wholesome stories about farmers.

McDonalds tweeted: 'Meet Dirk Giannini, McDonald’s lettuce supplier, as he shows u his life on the farm #MeetTheFarmers http://mcd.to/AyvF4M'

All was humdrum until 2pm last Wednesday when the global chain sent out two tweets with the more general hash-tag #McDStories.

Some marketing whizzkid proclaimed: 'When u make something w/pride, people can taste it,' - McD potato supplier #McDStories http://t.co/HaPM5G9F'

But within minutes the tweets began to go radically off message, as the hash-tag took on a life of its own.

Detractors seized on #McDStories as an opportunity to document their horror stories at the Golden Arches.

@jfsmith23 wrote: 'Watching a classmate projectile vomit his food all over the restaurant during a 6th grade trip. #McDStories'

One of the worst was @MuzzaFuzza who wrote 'I haven’t been to McDonalds in years, because I’d rather eat my own diarrhea.'

Followers chimed in including @nelo_taylor who wrote: 'These #McDStories never get old, kinda like a box of McDonald's 10 piece'

Social media director Rick Wion told paidcontent.org: ‘Within an hour, we saw that it wasn’t going as planned,’ said Wion. ‘It was negative enough that we set about a change of course.’

However the campaign wasn't a complete failure-The #meetthefarmers hashtag, which escaped the battering, stimulating mostly positive tweets, has stayed put.

Abhishek has crossed 1 million follower mark on Twitter

Abhishek is apparently ecstatic about this as he really likes talking to his fans and followers. He recently tweeted, “1 million!!!! wow! thank you to the coolest crew in the world. Thank you for the love and support. NOW PLAY SOMETHING LOUD!!!!”

Interestingly, he is far behind his father, actor Amitabh Bachchan, who holds the top position on the micro-blogging site with 1,912,800 followers and 11,285 tweets. Coming a close second is actress Priyanka Chopra, who was initially first on the list with 1,886,529 followers and 5,719 tweets. Following her is actor Shah Rukh Khan who has 1,661,568 followers and 2,834 tweets. Only three actors are a part of the elite one million club that also includes Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar and author-politico, Shashi Tharoor.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan’s bio on Twitter reads, “Actor... Well at least some say so!” While this may or may not be agreeable to all, the actor definitely is more popular than a lot of other actors in B-Town. Abhi recently became the latest celebrity to have crossed the one million follower mark on Twitter. The actor is quite active on the micro-blogging site and in between breaks during his shooting schedules, he is often spotted chatting up with his fans over Twitter. He even broke the news of his daughter being born on Twitter. On the last count, Abhishek has 1,008,643 followers and 14,406 tweets.

Unlike most celebrities who do not take criticism too well, Abhishek is all game for the brickbats that come his way. He explains, “If I have 20 lakh followers, 15 may be my fans and five could be following me because they want to criticize. I do not mind criticism. When you are in the public eye, you must be open to both, good and bad coming your way. If you are working towards being famous and then when you finally achieve it, you cannot step out wearing sunglasses. As an actor, you cannot be just receiving compliments.”

He also admits that he is hooked to Twitter, each time he gets a couple of hours off. “When I am in my car, I do a question answer round with my fans. Twitter is a very effective medium to interact personally with your fans. I love it.”
