Amarinder questions Badal's silence over attack on Gen Brar

Former chief minister and Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt Amarinder Singh while condemning the attack on Lt Gen (retd) Kuldeep Singh Brar in London on Sunday has said that chief minister Parkash Singh Badal was creating a situation by raising memorial that old wounds were not healing.

Holding that his position on Operation Bluestar was too well known to everybody in or outside Punjab which he did not need to repeat (Amarinder had resigned from his membership of parliament and Congress party in protest against army operation), Amarinder said that the attack on Gen Brar was highly condemnable and those guilty of it must be brought to book.
