Automotive expert, Rupert Banner, said: “At a time when motor cars in original condition and with impeccable provenance are appreciated more than ever, this one-owner car offers an unrepeatable opportunity for collectors.

“It has literally been off the radar. No one knew such an untouched and archaic this old existed. It is an incredible find.”

The unidentified owner's grandfather was one of the earliest buyers of the car, purchasing it from The British Mercedes Ltd in London.

A spokesman for Bonhams said: “This newly discovered 1928 Mercedes-Benz S-Type Sports Tourer is almost without precedent.

“Motor cars of this type and age have rarely been in the same family ownership from new.

“It is expected to sell for more than £1.5m.”

Wingman breaks four world records in ten minutes

Daredevil Jhonathan Florez donned a wingsuit and leapt from a plane cruising at 37,265ft over Colombia.

His specially designed suit allowed him to fly like a bird  reaching speeds of 100 mph.

The stomach-churning stunt saw Johnathan take on temperatures of -45C and was made from such a height that he had to take oxygen cylinders.

But it was all worth it in the end when the fearless Columbian broke four world records in less than ten minutes.

He now holds the record for the longest duration wingsuit jump, after his leap lasted 9 minutes and 6 seconds.

It was also the greatest horizontal distance flown in a wingsuit at 16.315 miles, the greatest absolute distance flown in a wingsuit at 17.520 miles and the highest ever wingsuit jump.

Jhonathan needed months of training to prepare for his historic jump — and had to wear a £1,200 Apache XRW suit which included a GPS tracking system and special thermals to protect him from the extreme cold.

The professional filmmaker and photographer captured the incredible moment using cameras attached to his back and helmet.

He said: "It was just an amazing feeling when I completed the jump. It was the best moment of my life."When you are up there it really feels like you are flying."It was great to break so many records in just one attempt.

"I had to complete a lot of training to prepare my body for the jump as you get put under great pressure travelling through air — the winds can hit speeds of 120mph.

"You have to be strong enough to be able to manoeuvre your body and I was up their for a long time."

But he admitted his wife is less than impressed, saying: "My wife is not to keen on me doing these stunts. She is understandably worried while I am up there.

"It can be a bit of a dangerous sport  but it gives you a great sense of achievement."

Staff on US airline Southwest ruled the passenger’s open cotton dress was “inappropriate” as it exposed a large amount of her asset.

Duangjai Jansauoni's racy routine drew gasps from the crowd, and has prompted a rebuke from the nation's government who labelled it 'very shocking'.

Culture Minister Sukumol Kunplome added that nudity on television is not considered appropriate in Thai society.

She said the show's producers have been summoned to explain why the segment was broadcast and the ministry will then decide whether to take action.

She said: 'This programme is intended to showcase the talent of Thai people and it usually encourages youths to show their special skills. Still, there have to be some limits.'

She then removed her shirt, unhooked a black bra and doused herself with several tins of paint before turning to the audience with a broad smile to display her multicolored torso.

The area around her breasts was blurred out by censors. As dance music played, the contestant used her body as a paintbrush to fill in the outline.

Some in the audience gasped with hands over their mouths, while others cheered her on. Duangjai told the judges after being handed a towel to cover up: 'If I paint in a normal way, then it would be too ordinary.'

The judges then debated whether her act could be considered art.

The panel's only female judge, actress Pornchita Na Songkhla, said: 'I'm not saying this is not good, but it's not appropriate. Within the Thai cultural context, I don't support this.'

As online chatter soared, some called Pornchita a hypocrite and posted photos from a 2010 fashion shoot in which her naked torso was covered with melted chocolate.

The whole thing started when MediaTakeOut ran a "world exclusive" story claiming Kanye West had “‘accidentally" tweeted a naked picture of Kim K eating in a hotel room. Next thing you knew, other outlets and blogs had run with the story, and the Internet had blown up in a bout of completely misguided speculation.

In the end, it turned out nothing about the original story was even remotely close to accurate. Kanye hadn't "accidentally" tweeted anything. As for the butt, it didn't even belong to Kim K. No, it was porn star Amia Miley. How do we know this? Twitter, of course. The star of such films as Couples Bang the Babysitter 5 and Hocus Pocus XXX (FYI: Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker don't appear in that one), took to the microblogging site to sort things out.

"Apparently a naked photo of me eating is going viral.... as Kim Kardashian.... Im confused." Miley tweeted.

Later, she would add: "im not going 2 argue about whether that pic is me or not.. want proof? look at the back dimple piercings. kim k doesn't have those."

Meanwhile, believes it was all one big prank. Apparently there's this Twitter thing called WanksterWednesday, where people try to channel their inner Master Splinter and make a funny. Or something like that. Oddly enough, Kanye's rep wasn't laughing.

"This phantom tweet never occurred on account. This is obviously the desperate, sad act of someone seeking to gain media exposure by exploiting Kanye’s notoriety," the rep wrote.

Personally, I'm not so sure that whoever spearheaded this covert operation was "sad" and "desperate." More likely, it was a teenage boy with a bad Mountain Dew habit, and Kim Kardashian's W photo spread thumbtacked to his wall.

Dalai Lama calls Russell Brand a 'strange, wonderful man'

The Buddhist leader met Brand at an event held at Manchester's MEN Arena last night (June 16).




The British comedian hosted the evening, which saw the Dalai Lama give a speech to 11,000 people titled 'Century of Dialog - Stand up & Be the Change'.

The monk laughed at Brand's humor, while also tugging at his beard, according to The Sun.


Brand told the audience: "Some of you might be surprised to see me here. I've gone from being Shagger of the Year three times to introducing the Dalai Lama.


"It has certainly been an interesting journey. The Dalai Lama told me 'We are all just people' and I've taken that on board as I was very nervous meeting him."


The Nobel Peace Prize winner later said: "Some people told me before to listen to this strange person's explanations.


"I was surprised but I think your openness is wonderful."


During his speech, the Dalai Lama praised the UK for its openness and tolerance, saying: "Britain should be very proud of its place in the world. It is known as a country which stands up against racism and intolerance and it has provided a haven for those fleeing torture and oppression."


Brand appeared to make a dig at Graham Norton during the event. Norton recently upset the comic by bringing up his divorce with Katy Perry during an interview.

Rodney King, whose beating by police in 1992 sparked the LA race riots, has been found dead in his swimming pool. He was 47.

Rialto Police Captain Randy Deanda said King was found "unresponsive" at the bottom of his pool after a call from his fiancee and was pronounced dead at a local medical centre shortly afterward at 6.11am (11.11pm AEST) on Sunday.

"Preliminarily, there do not appear to be any signs of foul play," Deanda added, noting that police were conducting a drowning investigation and that the coroner's office would perform an autopsy.

King became a symbol of racial tensions in America following his beating by baton-wielding LA police after a high-speed car chase was caught on camera.

He was severely beaten by four white police officers who struck him more than 50 times with their wooden batons and used a stun gun.

Four officers involved went on trial for use of excessive force but were acquitted on April 29, 1992, triggering days of deadly rioting in Los Angeles that left more than 50 people dead and caused about $US1 billion ($1 billion) in damage.

Speaking ahead of the 20th anniversary of the riots, King said racism still has to be challenged.

"There's always gonna be some type of racism. But it's up to us as individuals in this country to look back and see all the accomplishments that we have gotten to this far," he told.

Asked about his feelings toward the police officers who beat him, he said: "I have forgiven (them), because America has forgiven me for so many things and given me so many chances.

"You get to have a second chance, and I've been given a second chance," said King, who has had a number of brushes with the law since 1992.

"I have much respect for (the police), much respect ... some of them went out of their way over the years to try to make it up to me. Not all of them is bad."

Mumbai : Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has said that he is going to make a spoof of the iconic American TV show 'Baywatch'.

The spoof is based in Mumbai and will be called 'Bombaywatch'.

"I am currently working on an idea called Bombaywatch to bring myself (to Bollywood) and use Bollywood actors to make a parody of Baywatch in India," revealed Hasselhoff.

"Bombaywatch is my current priority right now. I am ready to come to India , so call me guys," he added.

The director has not yet fixed any date to start shooting Bombaywatch.

Baywatch is America's most popular action drama serial  which revolved about the Los angeles county Lifeguards whopatrol the beaces of Los Angeles County, California.

The show ran in its original title and format from 1989 to 1999, except the 1990-91 season, during which it was not in production.

From 1999 till 2001 it was known as Baywatch Hawaii.

Baywatch premiered on  NBC in 1989, but was canceled after only one season due to low ratings and also because the studio, GTG, went out of business.


Feeling the series still had potential, Hasselhoff along with creators and Executive Producers Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Greg Bonann revived it for the first-run syndication-market in 1991.

Hasselhoff was given the title of Executive Producer for his work on bringing the show back. The series was hugely successful, especially internationally. The show led to a spin-off: Baywatch Nights and Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.y

In 1999, with production costs rising in Los Angeles, and the syndication market shrinking, the plan was to move the show to Australia and launch Baywatch Down Under.

A pilot was filmed but the series was stopped when residents of Avalon put forth strong objections, including potential damage to a fragile ecosystem.

As an alternative to Australia, Hawaii offered the producers large financial incentives to move the show to the islands instead, and in Season 10, Baywatch Hawaii was launched.
