Most commuters are used to tackling public transport first thing in the morning,But whereas most steel themselves for the early crush and race for a seat, it would appear one woman still needs to learn the ways of the underground.

A hilarious video uploaded to YouTube shows a film of an exhausted passenger nod off as the train gently rocks her to sleep.


Going: The woman finds it impossible to stay awake...

Gone: The woman suddenly flings her arms around the passenger next to her, who had been quietly reading the paper Unable to open her eyes any longer, she dozes off in her seat and sways slightly.

But a jerk of the carriage means she slumps to the side, before flinging her arms round a startled man sitting next to her.

Before opening her eyes and realising that not only is she clutching a complete stranger, but her hug has been caught on film.


Bursting into laughter, she covers her face with her hands and beams at the camera, before looking suitably apologetic and abashed.

The man she's locked her arms round looks shocked but then laughs at her embarrassment.

The video has been uploaded to YouTube where thousands have already joined in to share her mortifying moment.

Despite the apparent spontaneity of the woman's sleepy snuggle, she does seem as ease with someone filming her after she wakes up - suggesting she either knows the person behind the camera, or she was pulling a (very intimate) prank.

But whether genuine or not, the man she cuddles up to takes her unexpected lunge in good humour, and giggles as she appears to wake up.

Perhaps next time she'll order a coffee before embarking on public transport.
