Not beng satisfied with the current safety standards, have taken drectons from Wesst Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.We intend to create an independent Railway Authority, along with an standardised Railway Standards protocol.A massive influx of 5.6 lakh crores for the modernizatoin is needed. Our targets are set at zero deaths.In 12 year plan, 2.5 lakh crores budgetary support shall be maintained. Indian GDP can't sustain the present one without good railways.
